If anyone knows of a better method to do a sparkly dress, please share :) I tried looking at some reference for it, but it was still hard.
This drawing was inspired by the film "The Edge of Love" it's pretty much a fanart of Keira Knightley and Cillian Murphy. I just watched the film and couldn't help but think how glamorous she looked in it. I watched it and then did the drawing from my imagination/memory.

ReplyDeleteAnd I think you're on the right track with the dress, but maybe the addition of some dark "sequins" would help the dress feel as though more light was playing over the surface. Just a thought.
Still working on Fantasy. But I'm on the color now. Should be up tomorrow! :)
Thanks for the compliment and advice =) That makes sense though. It always helps to bring out the light by adding darks. I'll give it a shot. I will try to repost it tomorrow. I look forward to seeing your drawing =)
