Spent my summer catching up with the movie series so I was inspired to do a little fanart :) The little ghost is just a character I like to draw.. nothing to do with the Harry Potter series. Just some more tinkering with transparency effects.
Sorry for not posting "Glamorous" yet. I was working on a short comic -- one panel posted above and the rest of which you can see here.
And now I'm completing a test for some possible freelance, so "Glamorous" may be a bit of a wait yet (but hopefully worked on in this coming week). So, have no fear! I'll be back to work soon! ^_^
I had to do an image that was summer inspired since the season is coming to an end. I tried doing some basic textures of sand and transparency with the beach ball. For the first time, I included lines for my drawing and a basic background.
So here it is! The woman's just doing her thing, trying to hunt some deer, when some dragon messes up her chance for dinner. Typical! Uhm, for a fantasy world... I'm sure.
I wanted to try some storytelling imagery this time around. I may decide to keep this up. I had a lot of fun with it anyway. Expect Glamorous to be late -- as usual. (I'm already late, right? Oh wells.)
If anyone knows of a better method to do a sparkly dress, please share :) I tried looking at some reference for it, but it was still hard.
This drawing was inspired by the film "The Edge of Love" it's pretty much a fanart of Keira Knightley and Cillian Murphy. I just watched the film and couldn't help but think how glamorous she looked in it. I watched it and then did the drawing from my imagination/memory.
A tribute to my blog partner :) To such an amazing person & friend! Happy Birthday Kelly!! Love ya!~ yummy cake!
I finally finished my Fantasy drawing.. although I don't know if you can call it fantasy since it's more like mythology. I did a double post today though for my lack of last week. I tried a different style of approach with this one. I redrew this image, the original was done 2 years ago. You can find the original on my sketchblog. Such improvement! Hard work does pay off!
